Standards & Compliance in Saudi Arabia

Expansion joints are a code item, not an accessory. In the Kingdom they must satisfy the Saudi Building Code (SBC) structural and fire provisions, and where a joint crosses a fire-rated wall or floor, the installed system must carry a listed fire-barrier rating (UL 2079 / ASTM E1966 movement-and-fire cycling standards).
